Many detailed part, all in before paint so can be weathered with the hull as a whole

Loads of wheels to start off, each needing its tyre painting

Paint first Then onto Decals and a grime wash

With the 44″ long Discovery waiting to be built a full revamp of the workshop was required to fit It on the bench.

Two unusual kits added to the stock pile

This is now coming to life, small amount of post shading

Cockpit masked, pre shading completed and the front end sprayed

USAF medium gray on the tail, Vallejo 71.275 Federal standard FS 36270 The paint went down very well and a superb finish

It will soon be ready for some paint

Although it will now be hidden behind all the panels and not seen

Photo etch, paint and gel pens give this great detail

It’s proving tough to get all the wiring into the F-16 but it will be done

Now mounted on its display stand

One of my ‘things’ is detailing what you can’t see as much as you can. And with the right colours, in this case the interior of the body is Zinc Chromate.

Nice addition to the kit, a dolly for the engine removal

Getting the interior together, bold colours as it will have blue lights on the ceiling  

Tanks painted, then on to the doors and roof, this enabled the fist full assembly with buffers and couplings
